I'm fairly new to the quilting scene but not to the travelling scene. As I travel around Australia and further afield, I'll be checking out quilting shops and other interesting craft stores in my journey. Join me on this journey and you never know, maybe the very shop I've visited is one you've had on your list for ages and my review may just get you there......

Pat's Fabric & Plants, Murrayville, VIC, Australia
Discovered this little craft shop on our way home from visiting friends
in NSW in July 11. Murrayville is a very small town on the Mallee Highway that we
passed through on our way back to Adelaide. I love shops like this as
it was a mix of quilting fabrics, a bit of wool, some local crafts and
other interesting bric a brac. In terms of quilting fabric, the store
didn't have a huge range but it did have a little of everything. I
managed to pick up a nice panel of Australiana flowers. If you're
passing through stop and take a peak. I'm a great believer in
supporting small town shops where possible. And if nothing else, every
so often you can find something very interesting to pick up.
